Awaas Diwas- an initiative of this district.

• Awaas Diwas have been observed at block and GP level at regular interval.

​

 Target:   

 

1) Generation of awareness among the beneficiaries regarding timely execution of the scheme    

    and convergence with other programmes, viz. MGNREGA, MNB.

​

2) Putting thrust on speedy completion of incomplete houses started in previous years.

​

• Good participation of beneficiaries resulted in improvement in the status of house completion and speedy utilization of fund.

• Social Audit Volunteers/GRSs/RPs have been engaged at block level for better monitoring and supervision of house construction under rural housing schemes.
